
We provide training that is essential for employees who are about to start work or participate in a project in Norway.
According to Norwegian HSE regulations, an employee must complete proper training before commencing work to ensure safe performance of their duties. Only employees who have completed training and hold a valid certificate are authorized to operate a mobile elevated work platform (MEWP).
The course is conducted in accordance with the regulations of the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority (Arbeidstilsynet) and includes a certificate issued by the Norwegian Central Register of Safety Training (Sentralregisteret for Sikkerhetsopplæring). The training is delivered in Polish by a certified instructor of a Norwegian training organization. Upon completion of the course and passing the examination, participants receive a certificate recognized throughout Norway. The certificate is valid indefinitely.
Total duration: 14 teaching hours (1 hour = 45 minutes); theoretical part: 8 hours, practical part: 6 hours.
Course syllabus:
1) Introduction (theoretical – 0.5 hours)

- Requirements for MEWP operators
- Accidents involving MEWPs and their consequences
- Causes of accidents
- Safe work analysis

- Reporting of incidents
2) MEWP: construction and operation (theoretical – 1 hour)
3) Stability (theoretical – 1 hour)
4) External environment around the MEWP (theoretical – 0.5 hours)
5) Types of MEWPs and classification into classes A, B, and C (theoretical – 3 hours)
6) MEWP inspection, reporting defects, documentation (theoretical – 1 hour)
7) Safe operation rules for MEWPs (theoretical – 0.5 hours)
8) Final examination (theoretical test – 0.5 hours)
9) Practical training – 4–6 hours
The course provides certification to operate MEWPs of Class A (transportable platforms), Class B (self-propelled non-motorized platforms), and Class C (self-propelled motorized platforms).
Note: Participants who provide proof of prior practical experience (25 hours for Class A or B, 50 hours for Class C) are exempt from the practical part.

The course is a documented training program in accordance with the regulations of the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority (Arbeidstilsynet), covering topics related to working at height (Norwegian: ‘arbeid i høyden’) and fall protection (Norwegian: ‘fallsikring’). Upon completion, participants receive a certificate in the form of a plastic ID card with a photo, issued by the Norwegian Central Register of Safety Training (Sentralregisteret for Sikkerhetsopplæring). The certificate is valid indefinitely.
The ‘Working at Height’ course is delivered in Polish by a certified instructor of a Norwegian training organization.
Duration of the training: approximately 8 teaching hours.
The course covers the following topics:
- Introduction: what working at height is – definition, statistics, and regulations applicable in Norway
- Regulations on the performance of work and use of work equipment (Regulation No. 703 of the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority)
- Regulations concerning work at height
- Causes of accidents during work at height
- Proper securing of the workplace
- Risk assessment and safe work analysis; HSE documentation for work at height
- Collective and personal protective measures for work at height
- Inspection and proper fitting of protective equipment
- Emergency procedures
- Examination

The course is a documented training program for ground personnel in accordance with the regulations of the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority (Arbeidstilsynet), covering topics related to working with lifting equipment equipped with hooks, slinging and handling of loads (Norwegian: ‘stropping og anhuking’), and signaling (Norwegian: ‘signalgiving’).
Upon completion, participants receive a certificate in the form of a plastic ID card with a photo, issued by the Norwegian Central Register of Safety Training (Sentralregisteret for Sikkerhetsopplæring). The certificate is valid indefinitely.
The ‘Slinging and Load Handling’ course is delivered in Polish by a certified instructor of a Norwegian training organization.
Duration of the training: 1 day.
The course covers the following topics:
- Legal regulations and safety procedures related to slinging and load handling
- Regulations on the performance of work and use of work equipment (Regulation No. 703 of the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority)
- Causes of accidents during slinging and load handling operations
- Lifting equipment, types of slings, and auxiliary equipment
- Inspection systems for slings and hooks
- Methods of slinging loads; load capacity tables for different types of slings
- Communication during crane operations; signaling systems and commands
- Proper securing of the workplace
- Risk assessment and safe work analysis; HSE documentation for slinging and load handling
- Examination

Upon completion, participants receive a certificate in the form of a plastic ID card with a photo, issued by the Norwegian Central Register of Safety Training (Sentralregisteret for Sikkerhetsopplæring). The certificate is valid indefinitely.
The ‘Safe Use of Tools and Machinery’ course is delivered in Polish by a certified instructor of a Norwegian training organization.
Duration of the training: 1 day.
The course covers the following topics:
- Legal regulations and workplace safety procedures
- Regulations on the performance of work and use of work equipment (Regulation No. 703 of the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority)
- Regulations on the use of machinery (Regulation No. 522)
- Most common accidents involving hand tools and machinery
- Safety rules and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Proper securing of the workplace
- Risk assessment and safe work analysis, HSE documentation
- Maintenance and inspection of work equipment
- Emergency procedures and first aid

According to the Norwegian regulation on safe work and operation of electrical installations (Forskrift om sikkerhet ved arbeid i og drift av elektriske anlegg – FSE), anyone working with or in the vicinity of electrical equipment must receive training in electrical safety and first aid. FSE training must be carried out at least once a year (every 12 months).
The FSE course is delivered in Polish by a certified instructor of a Norwegian training organization.
Duration of the training: approximately 4 teaching hours.
The FSE course covers the following topics:

The first aid training course is conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Norwegian First Aid Council (Norsk Førstehjelpsråd) and the Norwegian Resuscitation Council (Norsk Resuscitasjonsråd).
The course is delivered in Polish by a certified instructor of a Norwegian training organization.
The duration of the course is approximately 2 teaching hours.
The first aid course covers the following topics:
- What first aid is
- First aid equipment
- Behavior at the scene of an accident
- Personal safety and the safety of the casualty; securing the scene
- Assessment of the casualty’s condition
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Foreign body airway obstruction; recovery position

Foreign state-issued qualifications are not automatically recognized in Norway.
In order to use foreign qualifications in Norway, it is necessary to apply for a permit from the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority (Arbeidstilsynet). Only with such a permit can foreign qualifications for operating work equipment be used in Norway. The permit is issued on the basis of a completed application submitted to the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority together with a copy of the passport and copies of the relevant foreign certificates for the specific work equipment. The application processing time is up to 4 weeks.
Service fee – preparation of the application and its submission to the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority: PLN 250.
The procedure for recognition of foreign state-issued qualifications applies to the following categories of work equipment:
- Lifting equipment (mobile cranes, tower cranes, overhead cranes operated from a cabin, overhead cranes operated from floor level, loader cranes / HDS)
- Forklift trucks
- Telescopic handlers
- Heavy construction equipment (bulldozers, excavators, graders, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, dumpers)
